I guess it worked out with the Philadelphia Eagles after all. Oregon Ducks head coach Chip Kelly is going to the NFL, and not staying in college football. So you’ll get to see the quack attack in action at the college level no more. Kelly re-emerged as a candidate recently and an agreement was just reached Wednesday

There is a concern of NCAA sanctions coming in Eugene, OR. But it’s also expected to be nothing major. Or at least not anything Kelly would pull a Pete Carroll for.

Kelly went 46-7 during his four years as head coach at Oregon. The Ducks have been to four straight BCS bowl games — including a bid for the national championship against Auburn two seasons ago which came up just three points short– and have won three Pac-12 championships.

He originally came to the Ducks in 2007 as offensive coordinator under then coach Mike Bellotti. Before that, he was offensive coordinator at New Hampshire, where he started devising the quick strike offense that makes the Ducks famous.
